When I press the Fn key, emojis pop up.

On macOS, the Fn key can be set to open the emoji picker. You can change that setting to Do Nothing.

How to set Fn to Do Nothing on macOS

  1. Open System Settings

  2. Go to Keyboard

  3. Find the setting that says Press 🌐 key to
    Some Macs show it as Press Fn key to

  4. Click the dropdown on the right

  5. Select Do Nothing

That’s it. Now tapping Fn will not open emojis.
