If your email is hosted through GoDaddy, it may look like a regular Outlook or Gmail account, but the way GoDaddy manages these services can block third-party apps including VE Proactive Email Assistant from connecting properly.
How to Check Your Setup
Log in to your GoDaddy account.
Go to My Products.
Under Email & Office, check what service you’re using:
Microsoft 365 → your inbox runs on Outlook.
Google Workspace → your inbox runs on Gmail.
This will help you understand whether VE can connect successfully.
If You’re Using Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy
This is a known compatibility limitation.
GoDaddy’s customized version of Microsoft 365 uses special authentication and provisioning rules that restrict access for secure external tools including VE.
Unfortunately, there’s no workaround at this time.
What You Can Do
We recommend contacting GoDaddy Support for help.
They may be able to:
Adjust account permissions to allow external integrations.
Migrate your mailbox to a standard Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online).
If you have the option to switch, VE works best with:
Standard Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online accounts, or
Gmail accounts set up outside of GoDaddy.
💡 Tip:
If you’re not sure which setup you have, try connecting your email through Outlook.com or Gmail.com directly if it works there, the issue is likely with GoDaddy’s managed configuration.
